YOU SAY YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN…?
…being a Christian means “following Christ”. So, are you a Christian? …or are those just empty words?
You say you never hear from God…? But are you spending serious time with Jesus every single day, so you can get to know His voice? And have you turned from everything that is wrong in God’s eyes, so you can stand pure before Jesus and let Him speak to you?
You say you believe in Jesus, but your fill your daily life with anything but fertilizer for your faith…? How will you keep it from dying…? And how do you act on your faith?
You say you will stand up for Jesus..? But do you represent Him in your daily actions? At work? With your friends? Are you a good ambassador for Jesus when it happens to not be Sunday?
You want so much for Jesus to draw close to you and guide you…? But can you be BOTHERED to prioritize getting close to Him? And will you even allow yourself to be led in life?
…it is so awesome to “be in” and get recognized that you can almost “forget” Jesus – or people often deselect Jesus, even while they know how wrong that is…. But how can you opt out of being recognized by Jesus more than by your friends?
When you feel your spirit and your thoughts fight against each other, you probably know why…? Satan wants to separate you from God. Satan wants to take your time, your energy, your family, your joy, your enthusiasm, your health – and he wants to separate you from being with God the day you die. Will you let Satan succeed?
In other words – if you die today…. will you go to Heaven with Jesus? Or do you even care?
– because remember, you can NOT have one leg “in the world” and one leg with Jesus. It is one or the other…! Where do you stand?
Remember…!!! Jesus did NOT come to judge you, but rather to set you free from the judgment of eternal perdition we are all under… but will you let Jesus set you free? Or would you rather feel damned and close your ears to Him?
JESUS WANTS A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU…! HE WANTS YOU TO LET HIM BE WITH YOU…!
– and if you yourself can’t walk the walk with Jesus, then ask another Christian to go WITH you!!
Paul writes in Philippians 2:12-16
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
