ARE YOUR PRAYERS NEVER ANSWERED?
Do you know that Jesus wants to give you EVERYTHING you pray for…?
Those who have received Jesus wholeheartedly and who have turned from their life of sin, He calls “His children”, and He wants to give them EVERYTHING. The only problem is that far too many think that they can just get and get and get, but in reality they never really experience concrete answers to prayer. Why…? Because Jesus has tasked his children with going out and “bearing fruit” – and THEN He will give us EVERYTHING we pray for in the name of Jesus.
In John 15:16, Jesus says: “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
So, the question is: Are you bearing fruit…? Or are you just sitting on the couch “waiting for God”? For if you are just sitting there waiting, you might wait a very long time… but when you decide, with Jesus at the center of your life, to GO out (it is an action) and actually live as an ambassador for Jesus – as the person God personally picked and selected, then you will start to see this:
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you..
And then take another quick look at the end of John 15:16: “…that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
– So Jesus CAN’T give you EVERYTHING you ask for until you bear fruit. This is a spiritual law God has established for us, because He wants us to have a healthy relationship with Jesus, where we have made Him the CENTER of our life, and for our wishes to be according to His heart.
….so don’t seek the added blessing first! Because then you have misunderstood God’s kingdom!!! Seek God FIRST by doing His will… then everything else will be ADDED to you.
